My name is Jonathan J. Scialabba, a multidisciplinary artist and pedagogue with a combined 15 years of experience in drawing, painting, sculpture fabrication, ceramics, printmaking, digital art, and film photography. I love creation, and I believe that we can change the world through real art.

Real art— involves the concept of creation based on personal experience and skill. This is the type of art that is truly meaningful. When we create art that is authentic— it forces us to think deeply about our life. Authentic artmaking pushes us to ask questions like, "How did that experience change me?" or "Why did I make this mark?" Eventually, this process leads us to ask deeper questions such as, "Why am I here?" or "What is my purpose?"

In short, my mission is to inspire and encourage others through a divine work of art, and a pedagogical practice that leads people to ask the hard questions. It is my belief that life offers more than just black and white. As children of a colorful, beautiful, and artistic Creator/God...we are called to live life more abundantly.
